So it's been awhile since I've written one of these. Awhile as in...almost two years. Might as well give an update as to what I've been doing.
- I'm in college, obviously. Majoring in International Relations, in which I plan to eventually have my doctorate. I'm about halfway through my fourth semester at this point. And I'm still at Cottey College.
- The boyfriend and I have been together three years next month. It's crazy to find someone who is your other half. I never believed in soulmates until I met him. We're doing great, even though I'm living two and a half hours away most of the time. He comes by at least once a month, more if he can get days off (he works two jobs, bless his heart).
- When it comes to work, I was a hall receptionist from August 2015-February 2016, when I was promoted to head receptionist when ours stepped down. I've been doing that for a year now, and while it can be stressful at times, it's a very rewarding job.
- Since coming to college, I've really come out of my shell. In high school I never ran for executive offices or joined clubs. But now I've been freshman secretary, hall secretary, book club secretary, a member of the ambassador program, and a Model UN delegate, to name a few things. I didn't know I was capable of all this.
- I spend a lot of time on Tumblr. Find me at robintheboytrafficlight.tumblr.com
- My Facebook page is at 13,000+ fans at this point. It's insane to have such a large following.
That's pretty much the gist of what's been happening to me here the past year or two. See y'all in another year or two.

So another year has gone by. Let's see where we're at now. -Remember how I said I was going back to college to get a history degree? Yeah, scratch that. Student loans are a bitch, and once you've got them, it's pretty impossible to get them again if you haven't paid back any yet. Oh well. Instead, I've actually been going to a tech school for the past six months. I'm a few months away from taking a certification exam in medical billing & coding. After that, I'm going to get certified as a medical transcriptionist. And after that, as a medical administrative assistant. Is it my dream job? Hell no. But will it give me a steady income, room to grow, and pretty decent all-in-all life? Hopefully. -I actually have talked to my ex twice now. Once was a brief conversation of him asking how I was. Alright, not as long as before, but here's the newest updates.I've applied to go back to college to get a history degree. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that'll tell me it's a useless degree, but they can kiss my ass. This is what I want, and I haven't been this excited in awhile. So it's been a long time since I've written one of these, and a lot has changed. So here we go.I left college in May of last year, and haven't been back. Turns out that International Relations is not what I want to do with my life.
